NOTE: All Tableau Forensic Bridge can switch between a write-blocked or read/write device by adjusting the DIP switch settings. However, once the breakaway plastic has been removed, that device then needs to be validated before each use to ensure the proper configuration of the device was selected. At the request of forensic examiners, Tableau created yellow-cased bridges dedicated to read/write operation as a way ensure read/write operation to help eliminate the potential for misuse during forensic investigations. Often, a full forensics kit will include both write-blocked and read/write forensic bridges, and you will see that many Tableau resellers sell kits configured in just this way.
